What is Dermal Filler?
Dermal fillers are gel based injectables that restore volume to areas of the face that have lost fullness over time. They smooth deep lines, enhance facial contours, and create a more youthful appearance.
Revivo uses Revanesse Versa Plus, a hyaluronic acid filler known for its smooth consistency and natural looking results. Because hyaluronic acid occurs naturally in the body, the filler gradually dissipates over time. It can also be rapidly reversed with an enzyme called hyaluronidase if needed.
Treatment Areas
Dermal filler can be used to address volume loss and deep lines in the following areas:
- Nasolabial Folds: The smile lines that run from the sides of the nose down to the corners of the mouth.
- Oral Commissures: The downturned lines at the corners of the lips that can create a tired or sad appearance.
- Marionette Lines: The vertical lines that extend from the corners of the mouth down toward the chin.
- Lips: Restore lost volume, improve symmetry, or enhance shape and definition.
What to Expect
Results are visible immediately, though mild swelling may be present for the first few days. Final results typically settle within one to two weeks.
Most patients enjoy results lasting up to 6 months, though this can vary by product and individual.
A follow up visit within 10 to 14 days is recommended to assess your results, document progress with photos, and provide enhancements if needed.
Pricing
Dermal filler is priced at $700 per syringe on average, though pricing depends on exact filler type and current market availability.
Most patients need one to two syringes depending on the treatment areas and their goals. Payment is required for the full syringe even if it is not completely used during treatment.

Possible Side Effects
The most common side effects include slight redness, mild discomfort, bruising, or swelling at the injection site. These typically resolve within a few days.
Less common but possible risks include allergic reactions, skin infections, or granuloma formation. Vascular occlusion is a rare but serious complication that can be mitigated with prompt application of hyaluronidase to dissolve the filler.
Before Your Treatment
If possible, pause over the counter anti inflammatory medications and supplements for 7 to 10 days prior to treatment to reduce your risk of bleeding or bruising. Examples include Aspirin, Aleve, Naproxen, Motrin, Advil, Ibuprofen, Vitamin E, Ginkgo Biloba, and St. John's Wort.
Avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours before your appointment.
After Your Treatment
Avoid touching or manipulating your face for 4 hours after treatment. Remain upright for at least 4 hours and do not lay down. Avoid massage, facials, peels, or microdermabrasion for several days. Stay out of excessive heat including direct sun exposure.
Important Timing Note
If you have a special event coming up, please schedule your dermal filler treatment at least 4 weeks prior. This allows the treatment to take full effect and for any bruising or swelling to resolve completely.
